We are only minutes away from new lava flowing down the mountain and into the ocean, thermally heated hot ponds (Ahalanui Park), beautiful coastal parks (Mac Kenzie Park, Isaac Hale Park), Kapoho tidepools for snorkeling, Lava Tree Park, Kehena Black Sand Beach, old Kalapana (covered by lava in 1990) and steam vents in an area full of history.
