Petra and John, your hosts at Hale Makamae Bed and Breakfast in Hawaii, have traveled to many countries and stayed in small hotels, B&Bs, and other accommodations. As a result of our own travel experience, we are happy to offer our guests a high standard of comfort, quality, and service.

We know the Big Island of Hawaii well and can give you many suggestions and tips on what to do and where to go. We are looking forward to your stay with us as we welcome you to the hospitality of our home. We hope you will enjoy this beautiful corner of the world as much as we do.

Petra is originally from Germany, and John is from the US East Coast. We moved back to Hawaii in 1997 and have been on the Big Island since 1999. Both of us speak English and German.
